About Jesse Barnes
Although he hails from the rust belt, guitarist/composer Jesse Barnes has devoured an eclectic mixture of music. In the early 90’s he came up listening to hip-hop and shining shoes in his father’s barbershop on Cleveland’s east side. It was here that he was introduced to the guitar, and after cutting his teeth in the local blues clubs while in high school, he spent the next 10 years playing in New Orleans, Chicago and eventually Brazil. Now residing in Brooklyn, New York, his music has incorporated bossa nova and jazz and yet his songs still resonate with the simple stories he heard at the barbershop. Jesse currently plays guitar with Eli “Paperboy” Reed, and the High and Mighty Brass Band and will be releasing an album with his groupTake Berlin in April 2012.

Click to show details.
Join us at Bistro 72 as we welcome back Jeff LeBlanc, Friday May 31st, 7:00pm - 11:00pm
Soon after his graduation from Sacred Heart University, his first single, “Until We Get It Right” entered into the rotation of Sirius/XM’s The Coffee House, giving him enough exposure to headline a 60-date college tour where he was praised as everything from "the new John Mayer" to an artist "perfectly in tune with his audience."
His latest record, "Worth Holding On To", was self-released in August of 2011 and gained national attention by quickly rising to #3 on the iTunes Top 200 Singer/Songwriter Chart. The enthusiasm for the record and his frequent touring led him to be hand picked by David Archuleta to support his “My Kind of Christmas Tour”; where the two embarked cross-country on a full month of dates.
Along the way, Jeff has also been called upon to open for household names like the Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse, Matt Nathanson and Chris Isaak as well as rising stars such as Ingrid Michaelson, Eric Hutchinson and Karmin.
